Special Events Print E-mail

From time to time, we offer social opportunities for our members which fall outside
of our typical classes, trips or monthly meetings.  In the past year, this has included
dinner dance which featured the San Francisco Medicine Ball Band and a tailgate prior
to an SVSU football game.  Keep an eye on the page for news about future OLLI special events.

                 3rd Annual
OLLI Loons Baseball Excursion (503)

Join us in Midland to see the area’s hottest sports team, the Great Lakes Loons.
We have 150 seats reserved in the Northern Lights Pavilon on Sunday, June 27
for the 3:05 p.m. game.  The Loons will play the South Bend Silver Hawks.
We’re hoping for warmer temperatures and dryer conditions than last year!

The pavilon is a comfortable area above the outfield which includes tables and chairs
and bermed seating. Our price includes tickets to the game; and the dinner buffet.
The buffet includes hamburgers, hot dogs, brats and chicken, plus a number of side dishes, dessert and Coke products.

We are unable to offer school bus transportation to the game this year due to
local school liability issues.  However, members are encouraged to meet at SVSU
to car pool.
