Introduction to Tai Chi  (317)

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise which is an energizing and relaxing movement art that promotes physical health and mental calm. The simple fluid movements improve balance, flexibility, alignment and deep muscle strength. It has been described as meditation in motion. In this class, we will learn some basic Qi Gong warm-up exercises, as well as the beginning sequence of the classic Yang style form. It is suitable for most all levels of physical fitness. The class will be led by Jim Bush, who has been teaching Tai Chi naw area for 26 years. Wear comfortable clothing.
