Snowshoeing: The Cure for Cabin Fever (321)
“If you can walk, you can go snowshoeing” is a popular and true saying. There isn’t a long learning curve, and it doesn’t require a large investment or a lot of special techniques. In this class, you will have a chance to try this popular activity using snowshoes provided by the Green Point Environmental Learning Center in Saginaw. The first class will be held at the nature center and the second class will meet at the Center’s Woodland Trail near the intersection of Stroebel and Center. You may either bring your own snowshoes or use ones provided by the Center. If there isn’t any snow - we will hike in the woods! The class will be led by park ranger, Tom Horb. The class maximum is 14.
