| (014) The Best of Midland Here is your chance to enjoy many of the attractions that Midland has to offer. The day begins at the Alden Dow Home and Studio where you will tour the building, and learn more about Alden D. Dow, who designed over 140 residential, religious, civic, commercial, and educational structures in Michigan. The next stop is the Midland Center for the Arts where we will receive a guided tour of the Rodin exhibit. Lunch is on your own at the new Traverse Bay Pie Company where we will have a room reserved for us. After lunch, we head to a guided tour of the 1874 Bradley House. The day concludes at the Herbert H. Dow Historical Museum which you can explore on your own and visit the gift shop. All admission and fees to the museums are included in the cost; lunch is on your own. You will receive detailed directions of how to move from one museum to the next in your own vehicle. Van shuttle service is available from SVSU for an additional $20 charge. (The vans will leave SVSU at 8:15 a.m. and return at 4:30 p.m.) Wednesday, February 18: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Price: $30 Members ($50 with van service); $50 Non-Members ($70 with van service) |
