| (346/347/348) Great Decisions Discussion GroupThis discussion group will take you beyond the headlines by providing a look at eight of the most significant and far-reaching challenges facing the world. By participating in this OLLI class, you will be joining hundreds of thousands of Americans who each year uses the Great Decisions materials to promote discussion. Each class begins with a short video about the topic and then OLLI member Barb Mitchell will facilitate discussion and debate on that week’s topic. 2009 topics, in order of discussion, include: Afghanistan and Pakistan; The U.S. and Rising Power; Universal Human Rights; Global Food Supply; Energy and the Global Economy; Egypt in the 21st Century; Cuba After Castro; and The Arctic Age. You may sign up for either session, or both. The class price includes the briefing book.(To receive the combined price discount, you must register for both session at the same time.)
