| (314) Cross Country Skiing: Gliding Through the Great Outdoors Try something new with winter, or get out those skis you haven’t touched in years. You’ll spend the first session in the classroom learning about equipment, techniques, places to ski and rent skis. You’ll spend the last two sessions outside honing your skills. The course is led by John Johnson, a retired Dow Corning engineer who is a certified ski instructor and belongs to Professional Ski Instructors of America.
