(013)Women’s Wellness Getaway Here is your opportunity to relax, learn some healthy tips, and connect with other OLLI members in a tranquil and relaxing environment. Our getaway will be held at the Kettunen Center, which is owned and operated by the Michigan 4-H Foundation. It is located on 160 acres of Northern Michigan rolling hills and forests, on beautiful Center Lake in Tustin, which is south of Cadillac, and abou5 90 miles northwest of Saginaw. The complex has numerous meeting areas, delicious food, and comfortable rooms with private baths. A local wine shop will conduct a wine tasting session and we’ll get creative and make a craft you You will also have the opportunity to choose from several outdoor activities including:■ Cross country skiing■ Snowshoeing■ Hiking and ski walking (Bring your own equipment, or use theirs)We will be providing van transportation from SVSU for an additional charge of $30, however we encourage participants to car pool as we have limited seating in the vans.(Vans will leave SVSU at 7:30 a.m. on the 4th.)Discussion topics will include:■ The Power of Meditation■ The Health Benefi ts of Laughter■ Holistic Nutrition■ Massage Therapy■ Stress Reduction through Tai Chi■ Value YourselfDate: Wednesday & Thursday, February 4 & 5:(Begins at 9 a.m. on the 4th and concludes at 4 p.m. on the 5th)Our getaway includes:■ Double occupancy lodging *■ All meals (two lunches, dinner and breakfast)■ All programs and activities■ Wine tasting■ Craft materials.Price Double Occupancy:$175 Members ($205 with van service);$225 Non-Members ($255 with van service)* Private rooms are available for an additional $30 |
